And We Have A Crawler!!
Yeah! Brooklyn is officially a crawler! She started crawling on February 5, 2012- Super Bowl Sunday! We knew she was getting ready to, she had been getting up and rocking on all fours for days! And then it happened... she woke that Sunday morning and decided it was the day! Here are some videos of her first day crawling!
Park Days
One of our favorite things to do with our little family is head to the park. One of the many awesome things about our community is that their are about 3 amazing parks within about a three minute walk from us. We usually head off to the park for about an hour or so every day.
Madison loves meeting new friends, climbing, going down the slides, and having daddy push her "super high" on the swing. Brooklyn also enjoys the swings (especially watching Maddie next to her) and climbing/crawling around. And Miley loves following the girls (and ANY kid who will pay her attention) around and occasionally goes down a slide or two.

Maddie's First Mani/Pedi
I am a little behind on my blogging so here we go. A few weeks ago I was heading to the nail salon to get my nails done. Something I LOVE doing. Brooklyn was down for a nap and I could tell daddy could use a little quiet time so I decided it was time to bring Madison along for her first mani/pedi. Madison is the ultimate girly girl. She loves sitting in my sink and letting me fix her hair, shopping, picking out her outfits, and of course letting me paint her fingers and toes so I knew she would love it.
When I told her she was coming with me she was seriously so excited. I think the entire way to the salon she talked to me about what color nail polishes they might have. Haha! Well I was right, she LOVED it...and she picked hot pink nail polish for her pretty little fingers and toes (SO, my child). In fact, she asks me about once a week when we are going to go again. I think daddy might be in a little trouble but I am so excited to have a little partner to head to the nail salon with!

Big Bear Vacation
Last weekend we headed up to Big Bear for a little weekend away with my family. It was both of our girls first time going to the snow and Madison was especially excited. She had great plans of building snowmen and making snow angels, however, the weather didn't quite cooperate with us. The only snow we found was at the tubing park and Madison loved it! She is usually a little reserved so I was afraid she would be scared but she LOVED going down the steep hills and I got quite the workout carrying her plus our tube! We had a great time relaxing, snow tubing, eating, playing card games, and hanging out in the cabin.

The Year of Babies!
I am so excited! I am going to be an auntie times two this year!
My sister, Ashley and brother-in-law Nate are expecting their bundle of joy on August 19th. and Steven's brother, David and his wife Annie are expecting their's September 28th!
I am so excited to watch our family grow over the upcoming years as our brothers and sisters have little ones. Some of my greatest memories growing up were with my cousins. I am so thankful I came from a tight-knit, large family and am so happy our girls are going to get the same experience.
Let the baby showers and nursery planning begin. By the way, Madison insists that both Ashley and Annie are having girls....boys are not an option! She has also decided that she is going to take the liberty of naming both new cousins. Ashley and Nate's little one is going to be "Sophia" and David and Annie's "Chloe." Too funny! I just can't wait to have more little ones to love on and spoil!

Madison Starts Preschool
My first baby started preschool! Madison has been BEGGING to start school! Since Steven and I are both teachers she is always around "school." I have taken her into my class a few times this year for different events and she LOVED it! In fact, she asks me about every week or so if she can go to school with me!
So, since she turned 3 in December I figured it was time to start the preschool search. I never would have thought choosing a preschool would be so difficult but it was. It's hard to pick people who you trust with your kids. We were recommended to check our The Learning Tree Preschool in Chino Hills. A friend of mine from high school's son goes there and she raved about it. We checked it out on a Tuesday and loved it, so she started that Thursday!
Madison has two awesome, loving and kind teachers...Mrs. Tami and Mrs. Heather. And she looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday. She has met new friends and is learning new things every day. She was such a big girl on the first day of school. I walked her in and she didn't even think twice, she went right to her center with Mrs. Tami. Mommy, on the other hand, cried the entire way to work! I can't believe my baby is old enough to be in preschool.
