Silly Sisters!

I am on blog overload so this will be my last one of the day! One of my goals with the girls this year is to capture more things on video. I thought I chronicled all of Maddie's baby moments really well but now looking back I have very little video.
Although it makes me sad that Brooklyn is getting so big so fast, I love watching the girls interact. Madison really is a great big sister. I love watching them play together, and Madison has really taking a liking to making Brooklyn laugh. I remember a few months back when I loathed driving in the car anywhere because B HATED being in her car seat. Now I love listening to our two girls laughing and playing in the backseat!

Our Trip To Pretend City

This past weekend we decided to head to "Pretend City" in Irvine. I had heard a lot of great things about it from some friends and it sounded like something Madison would just love.
What is Pretend City? Just what it's name implies, a mini city built just for kids! It was truly AMAZING- there was an art studio, library, grocery store, police station, fire station, beach, theatre, doctor's office, fishing area , and a garden! We invited the Cozzi cousins to come with us and the kids had a blast! We will definitely be back again...we had to beg Madison to leave!

Brooklyn Jane, 10 Months

February 20, 2012 our Brooklyn Jane turned 10 months! Time is just flying by! We love you Baby B!

Here are some of my milestones this month:

-I can crawl just about anywhere

-I can pull myself up and stand on just about anything (including the stair gate)

-I can say "Mama"

-I can wave

-I am starting to eat big girl food...my favorites are frozen yogurt and mac n cheese

-I can stand up and bounce up and down in my crib

-I love playing in the water, especially the baki w/ my big sister

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was so much fun this year! I have always LOVED the holidays but now that I have little ones to spoil and surprise on these special days I love them even more!
This Valentine's was also Madison's first school party. We volunteered to bring sugar cookies for her class to decorate and had so much fun making them together. She also picked out princess cards to make for her class!
We started our Valentine's morning with heart-shaped chocolate chip pancakes, headed to school for the big party, had a lunch date at Carl's Jr, and got some special surprises from daddy.
Steven and I headed off to one of our favorite restaurants, Northwoods, for dinner and went to see "The Vow." (and I forgot my camera...boo!)
