Going To See Santa & A New Christmas Tradition!

This year we decided to take the girls to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa. We heard it had a super cute little village and lots of crafts for the girls to do! Christmas is by far my favorite holiday.  I don't know what it is, but there is just something in the air that makes this time of year magical! I love that Madison is old enough now to love Christmas time and Steven and I are having so much fun starting new family traditions that we will continue to do with our family in years to come.

We also decided to buy "The Elf on the Shelf" Christmas book to start with our family.  Madison is absolutely enamoured by the story.  We read it every single night and in the morning she wakes up and searches for "Georgie the Elf"- a name she decided on after the younger brother in her favorite show, Peppa Pig! There is nothing better than that little innocent twinkle of Christmas magic I can see in her little eyes...I can't wait until Brooklyn is old enough to join in on the fun too! I apologize in advance for the overload of blog posts that are about to come tonight but December truly has been a CRAZY busy month!

We started off the month in Scottsdale, Arizona celebrating the wedding festivities of my older sister, Kellie. We were a little bit nervous about the trip there since we would be driving with our two little princesses, but like always, they were troopers and we had a fabulous time. We started off the weekend with the rehearsal and dinner Friday evening at the Armitage Bistro in Scottsdale.  It was GORGEOUS! Perfect, crisp winter weather-the area reminded me of a ski town up in the mountains. We had a lot of family in for the occasion and we had a great time.

Saturday marked the big day and it was beautiful....FREEZING cold, but nonetheless, a gorgeous wedding. Madison and I were both in the wedding....did I mention this was Madison's fourth time being a flower girl?? She was too precious and was such a trooper! And, of course, the reception was a blast! I was so happy that all of our family made the trip out for Kellie and Roy's big day! The weekend was perfect!

Trojan Football

On Thanksgiving my parents surprised us with 4 tickets to the USC/UCLA football game! We hadn't been to a game at all this season so we were beyond excited! My parents were taking Madison for a sleepover so we decided to venture off to the game with Baby B in tow! We were a little nervous; it was going to be a long day of tailgating since the game wasn't until 7pm but we ended up having a great time! Our good friends Bryan and Michelle and my sister-in-law, Annie joined us too!  Brooklyn was quite the trooper and LOVED the game... and she must be good luck because the Trojans crushed those Bruins!
